Galvanising Important Update

Starting in September, our galvanisers will be changing our post galvanising passivation process. This is due to a new industry-wide regulation that prohibits the use of the chemical TIB Finish CH06, which was previously used to give our products a protective coating against water staining.

What’s Changing?

Our galvanisers have upgraded their passivation tank and will now be using an alternative polycoat finish. This new coating still ensures the same high level of durability and protection, but the final product will have a more natural galvanised finish (products will no longer have the shiny finish that usually lasts around 12 weeks as displayed in our images).

What Stays the Same?

Rest assured, our products will continue to be hot-dip galvanised to the highest standards BS EN ISO 1461, and their longevity will remain unaffected.
